The Grid Blog Editor will be responsible for setting the editorial calendar and topics, managing individual blog submissions and scheduling; editing draft blogs for content, grammar, spelling, punctuation, style, and formatting; and WordPress formatting and scheduling. Blog writers, whom you will supervise, submit two blogs monthly and the editor will ensure that bloggers meet weekly deadlines, requiring constant email communication with the blogging team. You will also support the learning of the blog writers by assisting them in improving their writing skills through constructive, positive, feedback. Global Site Plans will provide comprehensive training and guidance throughout The Grid Blog Editor internship.

As a bi-weekly blogger, you will write about topics related to your field(s) of expertise, but specific to your location. For example, you live in Granite Bay, California (Global Site Plans founders’ hometown). You would then become the correspondent for environmental design topics at this location. We want to stay local, yet reach globally.
We are seeking contributing blogger interns who can make a minimum commitment of 6-months, contractually. As a contributing blogger you will be able to build your personal brand on the Internet, be looked upon as an expert in the field(s) you cover, and be recognized widely over different mediums. Global Site Plans is seeking a creative problem-solver who is eager to learn how to effectively increase Twitter followers, while using the HootSuite interface. As the Twitter Community Coordinator, you will be responsible for all Twitter communications; Tweets. You will be responsible for scheduling tweets via HootSuite, while enhancing tweets with hatch-marks, keywords, and checking for proper grammar, spelling,and character length. You will also keep abreast of ‘headline’ architecture, engineering, landscape architecture, urban planning, and design topics to tweet and re-tweet daily. These, among others, will be part of the Twitter marketing and follower campaign that you create. Global Site Plans will provide comprehensive training and guidance throughout the Twitter Community Coordinator internship.
