I think, Unesco should put our beloved city’s world heritage status on hold,

until such time that the mayor and the municipality (the government is not the right counterpart on this issue)

comes up with a comprehensive and irrevocable plan to preserve the historical values (cultural ones are too subjective to put on a formal plan) of Istanbul.
