CONTENT CRITIQUE FOR ARCHITECTS, ENGINEERS, ENVIRONMENTAL NON-PROFITS, LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTS, AND URBAN PLANNING SOLE-PROPRIETORSHIPS, AND SMALL-TO-MEDIUM SIZED COMPANIES

A Content Critique of your website or blog helps maximize your content as part of your overall marketing strategy. When conducting a content critique of your website or blog, we will review the following items, among others:

WHAT DOES GLOBAL SITE PLANS EVALUATE DURING A CONTENT CRITIQUE?

We will investigate whether, within your content strategy, your content is of value to your audience, builds trust, drive decision-making towards contacting your firm, tell the story of your  firm or business, inspires or entertains, motivates your audience, and answers questions regarding your services.

Great content means that the right amount of significant and internesting text, audio, and/or video is available to meet the needs of your audience. We look for whether your content demonstrates your firm is knowledgeable about the services offered by your firm, whether your content creates an emotıional engagement needed to distinguish your firm from others, and does your content motive your audience to take action to contact your firm.

Content must be delivered with the audiences’ needs in mind and must be written in a compelling, engaging, and useful manner. Global Site Plans looks for whether your content delivers market insight, presents a clear and authoritative point of view, whether there is evidence of an integrated editorial strategy, the content engages your audience, and offers targeted, credible information with compelling visuals.

The most important aspect of content, is that it is found. When content is written, if there is no audience to read it, then it serves no purpose. During the content critique process, Global Site Plans will review whether your content is easy to find, easy to read, listen, or watch, whether there are means to interact or engage with your audience about the content provided, whether your content is downloadable, whether your content is available on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc., whether your content is available for free or must is available only in exchange for an email address, or other price. And finally, we will review in what ways your content can be easily distributed to wider audiences.

Certain content formats are better than others in disseminating information. Global Site Plans will review the various formats that your content is available in, including eNewsletter, print newsletter (is it downloadable?), white paper, case study, article, book, eBook, audio book, print, digital magazine, blog, social networking or social media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.), company-focused community site, video, podcase, research report, online news release, webinar, or telesiminar.

And finally, does your content glow? During your firms’ content critique, Global Site Plans will rate your content on the aforementioned with a rating from 1 to 5. A content critique is meant to further develop your online business presence or to help your become the premier source of information in your industry niche or architecture, engineering, environmental non-profits, landscape architecture, or urban planning sole-proprietorships, or small-to-medium sized businesses.
